The BOE Presents: Get Your Back Into It with Ms. Dee Flower

https://fetlife.com/events/752135

Get Your Back Into It: Rough Body Play

Ever feel so physically ALIVE in your scenes that you want to do and feel more than just using an implement on your partner? We’re going to talk about how to use your whole body in a scene… grabbing, pulling, punching, and pushing up against someone. We’ll start with adding little pieces of rough body play into our impact scenes to add texture, surprise, and restraint. Then we’ll go a little darker and talk about the deep impact of a punch, and the guttural primal urges that arise when we use these techniques.

Flouer Evelyn, or Ms. Dee Flower is currently living in both New York City and Zurich, Switzerland, Flouer (and her darker alter ego Ms. Dee Flower) can be found touring the United States and Europe teaching both dance and kink. Flouer believes that a healthy, positive sexual expression in all its forms is one of the most important things on the planet. To this end, she is working towards a degree in Sexological Bodywork, and occasionally takes clients as a professional Domme. She maintains that most life lessons can be found in the exploration of kink and/or partner dance, and she strives to help people create connections within themselves, their partners, and the community as a whole.

The BOE Presents: Self Defense with Jordan Bonner

https://fetlife.com/events/754073

Self Defense with Jordan Bonner

We strive to present a self-defense program that focuses on the needs of the LGBTQ+ community. We offer practical advice in navigating violent situations that happen every day. This includes both practical knowledge of self-defense and what to do before and after a conflict arises. We will discuss how to de-escalate a situation whenever possible and demonstrate how to respond legally when a situation becomes heated past the point of talk.

We will start class with a discussion and instruction on the practical and social issues surrounding self-defense. Next Jordan will demonstrate new techniques to respond to physical violence. The last part of class will allow time to practice and perfect those techniques.

Jordan Bonner began studying self-defense and martial arts in Fall 2014; by Winter 2015, he had become a pupil of Dallo Martial Arts in Michigan. Here, he studied a plethora of martial arts ranging from Western Boxing, Wing Chun, and Muay Thai to various Southeast Asian weaponry disciplines, including Filipino Kali and Silat.

Through four years of training under Sifu Dallo and additional tutelage under such masters as Dan Inosanto and Francis Fong, Mr. Bonner has been able to explore the methods of over a dozen martial arts and identify those common elements most practical to the personal defensive needs of most civilians.

Mr. Bonner has been openly gay since 2013 and began attending MIR in 2015. It is his goal to act as an ambassador of practical self-defense to the queer community and promote a safer world for all minority groups through education and empowerment.

So what’s the class?

Rough Body Play 301: Intermediate subject control

You have attended some classes and can win your take downs, but you are looking for an easier time of it. You want to feel more in control and expand your toolbox for causing delicious squeals and predicaments with your hands. Or you are a bottom who is looking to eel more effectively and need to know what is coming.

Ice Bear has been taught and then certified by the government to teach how to force compliance in a quick and efficient method. Join him and his partners as he teaches beyond basic joint locks, pressure points, and takedown moves. Come see if his partner is able to “earn” some unnecessary roughness before she goes down repeatedly.

This class is best with a partner although Boundfate is gleefully willing to let people practice on her. Physical moves are best learned with repetition and there will be time given to practice standing moves for those with partners to practice on.

Ice Bear and Boundfate have been part of the kink scene for over the decade. With a background in the national guard as an MP and in law enforcement Ice Bear has been teaching self defense and subject control in some form or another for over 20 years. He is a big fan of brats and enjoys predicament compliance

What if I want to attend but I’m NOT a BOE member?

Well, the first question is why the heck aren’t you a member? I mean seriously!? We are the longest running weekly educational based kink organization in Michigan. You should check out our website. Educated kink is SEXY.

Back to your question. If you are not a current BOE member feel free to attend any one of our Tuesday night classes or social events and we will introduce you to one of our wonderful membership committee representatives who can answer all of your questions and get you signed up. It’s super simple, and mostly painless. You can find more info about becoming a member here.
