The Impact of BDSM Play and the Lymphatic System “Know How You Flow”

The lymphatic system is integral to every system of the human body. It provides us with our ability to heal, fight off disease, and balance fluid. Damage to this system can create major health concerns such as lymphedema, autoimmune disorders, and infection. This class teaches a brief overview of the lymphatic system and how it functions, as well as tips on recognizing risk and dysfunction, so that you can assess yourself and/or your bottom and make a risk aware decision in your play. We’ll also be discussing ways to care for your lymphatic system, so that it can maintain a healthy, healing flow. Hands on techniques will be demonstrated as time allows.

Nixa is a New England transplant who has been into BDSM for almost a decade . She thoroughly believes knowledge is power and practices RACK and PRICK in her play. In her professional life Nixa is a Nationally Board Certified and Michigan state licensed massage therapist and internationally certified lymphatic drainage therapist. She’s had the privilege of sharing her passion for the lymph system by speaking at medical conferences and schools regarding the lymphatic system and the benefits of manual lymphatic drainage and she’s very excited to be able to share that knowledge with those in the kink community.
